NBL Expansion Update

I think Tas would be hoping for near-sellouts each game in a 5,500-6,000 seat stadium, particularly if they manage to make the general vicinity a great place for a night out.

They could get the DEC ready and play out there till any modernising of silverdome if required. The worst thing about the silverdome is it’s location and lack of car parking. They don’t need 10000 seat stadiums in Tasmania, 4 to 6 thousand is fine.

And you'd think there would also need to be an upgrade on a Launceston venue. It could drag on for another year beyond 2021.

They would need to sell DEC and surrounding land for commercial use to LK for roughly auditor general value, then pump in funding for upgrade of DEC.

Not sure what the expectations are re putting in for a team itself.

I imagine it will be 2021, the general concept development of the area is a brilliant idea and draws in stakeholders which helps argue for it.

Now that SOS have saved the team i think its time for a new monka United - seems we all have lost focus blaming coach / players / mANgements / the grease monkeys for all ills. Unless SA can get behind our club we riask losing not just games but more.
Crowds neec to return for the sake of the club - not just to see team win - NOW more than ANY time we need to show the SIXERS are our team.
do others sense we looking for scap goats - we need to be positive to keep NBL alive in SA.
TURN UP to next homes games show NBL we care.
NOT WIN LOST its the game for everybody rthats at stake.
