Sydney Kings 4-0 & looking the goods
Melbourne bench get splinters, vickerman is known for backing his starters.

"The Championship is going either Sydney or United."
Not sure how you can say that, when United are 0-3 and have lost to Perth twice already.

It's not rocket science. All the fans have been calling it out for the last 3 seasons, while Kings management for whatever reason did not make the required changes.
1. Jeff Wrong Again.
2. Gaze - great player, not a great coach.
3. Wrong imports and balance: Season 1 no 1, season 2 no 5, season 3 no 4. Finally David Wear was the epitome of bad choices.
4. K Lisch on 300k pa - once again injured season 1, 2 and 4. I guess this can't be helped.
This season the Kings have not played any of the top 3 teams, so it's way too early to call.

I’m really looking forward to seeing United vs Sydney
Sydney might have a better top 6 or 7, but United has superior depth- especially big man depth.
Sydney should be better defensively, but United has loads of firepower.
Sydney should be more capable of locking teams down, but I reckon United has the potential to play at a faster pace and score quicker.

If Bogut and Casper stay healthy, then the Kings should be top 4.
Encouraging start, but it's too early to say more than that- which we all expected to be the case anyway.

Kickett and the young Hunter are ok back up guys. They need to keep an import spot for a top quality five man if Bogut goes down, not a back up.

Injuries can change things very quickly, Bogut is crucial, if he was to miss games they’d be up shit creek with out a paddle. Lisch out is already concerning. Great move pinch Ware from Melbourne and even Moller is that glue defensive guy that the kings lacked. Long way to go.

The Run home (12 games) is:
Sun 13/1: Vs Sydney. Could get a win here.
Sun 20/1: Vs Breakers. Could be up by 21 early based on history.
Sun 27/1: @ Melbourne. Could Johnny Flynn catch on fire again?
Fri 1/2 Vs 'Gong.
Fri 8/2 @ Perth. Voodoo time?
Sun 10/2 Vs Melbourne.
Sat 16/2 @ Cairns
Fri 22/2 @ 'Gong
Thu 28/2 @ Breakers
Sat 9/3 Vs Cairns
Fri 15/3 @ Cairns
Sat 22/3 @ "Gong
5 Home, 7 away. Probably should go 3-0 against Cairns. Melbourne will be the Barometer and 7 of those games are against teams in the Top 4. Those top 4 teams are a combined 19 & 7 at home and 21 & 13 away.
Maybe it's a clever ploy to start smashing these top 4 teams late in the season, gain momentum and get a flag.
Considering a good run is needed to make finals, what are people thoughts?
