Sure, good advice, but are you saying that spoilers should be allowed in titles, or just that we should avoid the forum for risk of selfish assholes that need to make a special point spoiling game results?

I don't care that much, but really, are you sure you are sticking with this argument? It's rare to see anyone spoil game results in this forum. Only happens often during playoffs after a series win when the next game thread appears. Hoops is usually one place that you can be confident of viewing news/discussions without spoilers, unlike other options like Twitter. Somehow I thought you'd be someone of all people here to be most sympathetic of this sort of thing.

If you want to avoid spoilers, avoiding Hoops entirely seems the smart idea.

Can we not choose thread titles that make results of games on the same day obvious? A spoiler tag is redundant in this case.

The average punter would think it was just a tough loss on the road but the reality of the situation is that since Nielsen and Forde have left, the Cats don't have the cohesion of previous seasons. This will be the first of many tough losses unless TG and this new guy can build some cohesion quickly as Chance and Brennan certainly are not a long pinky finger's worth of talent compared to their predecessors. Goergiou knows that Gleeson has won too much just to be fired now, so it's his ass on the line if this season goes pear shaped. Sack Hunt, get a new import Big in and hope like hell the new assistant can build relationships with the bench real quick. Don't look now Perth fans but that glorified history you love to remind us of so much could be about to unravel in a terrible and beautiful way right before your very eyes

honestly, if NBL just did this, the ratings on the t.v games would skyrocket, because there just isnt enough ads.
all the NBL needs to help boost fans watching the games is simple.

One Awesome, adrenaline pumping, motavation T.V Commercial.
seriously, i mean a 30 second ad shown a couple times a day on One and Ten.

*players walking onto court, slow motion with music staring up.
* shot of huge mexican wave at perth game.
* ben madgens 3/4 court shot, and then the music drops.
and then just the best dunks from the season, awesome shots, and just make the ad get everyones attention.

And then a title comes up that says
'NBL, FRIDAY NIGHTS 9:30
AND SUNDAY 2:00PM"

Its sounds stupid and childish, but think about it, if they got a good editor, awesome higlights and made it well, it would be huge.
