Joey should have used DJ and Froling in OT. Thats what got us back in the game. Couldn't believe DJ hardly got a look in the first half. The way for the Sixers to beat Sydney is to force them to guard the perimeter. Froling and DJ for the 3. Everytime we have beaten them we get the ball to DJ for the 3 as Bogut can't get out there, but Sixers only started doing this from the 3rd.
Randle not last minutes clutch player. Check the last couple of games. The other week he nearly lost Sixers the game but was lucky DJ pulled something out to get the win. Runs shot clock down but can't get a good shot away and ends up "chucking" up a hope shot. You could see the difference between Randle and Ware. Ware will turn up when it matters and find the right play, where Randle makes hero decisions like Sobey. Must be something to do with the initials ink.
Not having legitimate 3pt shooters really hurts Sixers.

New stadium is good, I liked the atomasphere in there for this game.

My take:
Randle over dribbling in the 2nd quarter (all game, but particularly the 2nd) and taking early shot clock shots freezes out the rest of the team, and they lose momentum. He needs to keep getting other involved, or he should move to the 2 and let someone else run the 1......at least the ball would move.

You do make your own luck and there were definitely some bad calls (the Ware offensive in particular), but DJ really Ogilvy'ed the game away late.

Still, one of the most impressive Kings victories in years I have to say, and Tate is an absolute beast. Happy to have been proven completely wrong about him.

I don't know I feel a bit confident tonight for no real reason. The Kings have to lose at some point and the Sixers two wins at home have been against a playoff team from last season in Brisbane and the now improved Cairns who in the games either side of the loss to the Sixers beat both of last year's Grand Finalists. I'm sure Randle will be hungry for revenge too.

Should be great game, this will test the kings, win this and it’ll show us punters the kings aren’t violet crumbles. Adelaide at home will be fired up, can Johnson get Bogut could be the answer to the winner. Hope the refs don’t call rubbish and let them play. I’m calling extra time, kings by two.

Ware I believe is still questionable (as of last night, at least), which would be a big blow to Sydney's chances.

Just read this story and watched the video it was pretty good. Tmac in his prime was awesome. That Spurs game was epic, reminds me of a game between the Jazz and Nuggets back in the early 90's. Rodney Rogers and the Nuggets were down by 8 with something like 20 seconds left, Rogers hits 3 threes in 8.8 seconds to give the Nuggets the lead. Crowd go nuts,nuggets players are celebrating then the clever Jazz didn't call for time but inbounded a full court gridiron pass to an open teammate for the easy layup and the game winner.

Anyway check out the Tmac article, he was cold blooded for about 5 years there.
