ILL v CNE Nov 25
Illawarra win.
Now for them to go on a charge and sweep the gf series.

FARQ!
I was expecting a close one with Cairns to just sneak home on the final play, which they could have!
Well done to Ball

Great game - on mute. Homicide = automatic mute, no matter who he has with him.
It also made it easier to wander off and do things during the ad breaks and panel and sideline stuff. Did I miss anything?

"Not having Melo and Machados assist numbers on that stat graphic was just amateur"
Glad I'm not the only one who thought the same thing. Like seriously, steals instead? Ugh.

Brain fade by Ogilvy but he was very very good at both ends. Dech, Blanchfield, Coenraad good also. Ball superstar. Good contributions from Anderson and Boone.
Fantastic game. LK is on a winner with the league.

Classic AJ moment

Melo Ball, jeezus. Happy to admit I was completely wrong about this kid before the season started.

Hope the SBS feed doesn't die

Most entertaining game of the round.

What happened to Wigness playing for Brisbane?

Machado has been really impressive really liking the way Cairns are playing this season.

Wish I'd put money on Cairns at half time. Always felt like the Hawks would struggle once their shooting % dropped.

LaMelo Ball gets a triple double youngest player in NBL history to do it age 18 years & 3 months.

Enjoyable game, defence not real good but enjoyable. Ball will be top five so much talent.. hoping he gets triple double and the win.

Yeah, hell of a half from Melo. Didn't expect much from this matchup but it's been fun so far.

Sobey gotta triple double here (adelaide) and before that Julius Hodge.
So, I don't think a triple double happens much in NBL.

Ever the optimist Mr Toft.
I can’t see Illawarra having any more close games, let alone last possession losses, but anything can happen this season so we’re probably both wrong.
In the spirit of unexpectedness, Illawarra to account for Cairns, then go on a massive streak culminating in sweeping the gf series.

Ballarat Miners have reduced their coaching shortlist to 3 options.
Trevor Gleeson - Ex Melbourne Tigers Head Coach
Scott Fisher - Ex Perth Wildcats Head Coach, now Ass.Coach at Hawaii University
David Flint - Ex Bendigo Braves Head Coach and legend.
The season can be considered all but over due to season starting in 6 weeks and have no team recruited, new coaching staff and no money!
