Anon, you need to relax. Consider the situation, this team has failed immensely. This is a dead rubber game. They’re beating up on one of the very few teams below them on the ladder. This is no indication of what griffins worth is, the man doesn’t play D at all. Over the course of the season he is a liability 50% of the time.

Adelaide need to wipe the slate clean roster wise and hope they can convince a few guys that are under contract that it’s best long term for them to mutually leave. A genuine new culture standard needs to be created. New coach, new voice would be ideal too. I hope they get smashed today, because it will only put more pressure as a short term pain to help create a new beginning which a lot of fans are wishing for.

Teys is almost last man standing of club culture recognised face and that glue man. Had a great year doing the one presenters. Contributes confidently within his limitations. Sets example - need someone who can demo standards.

IMO 36ers have achieved slightly better than expected - I never saw their roster as being competitive. Because Adelaide has flashes of brilliance and pure awful, often in the same game, it feels like they could have done better and failed.

To that extent, off-season was a failure, in season achieved marginally better than expected. Although, The apparent lack of chemistry and infighting does represent a failure of sorts as well.

Melbourne are probably the side that has failed the most in terms of expectations vs results. Perth fans were might pissed at their roster and sooked hard while many said relax they’ll be there when it counts. They are there when it counts.

Brisbane after their nice run of games are doing a bit better than expected. Cairns are doing substantially better than expected.

Re roster for next year if Zodiac is right, then our “Keep” should be DJ, Drmic, McVeigh, Mudronja, Teys, Kyei.

That’s on ok core of 6, requires three imports that cover our bases properly: distributing, three point shooting, defensive big. Last one hopefully can grab a quality Aussie somehow.

He'll need to retain a core group. Can't just wright group off. Better to retain and fill the gaps. Rim protecting centre and assist focus guard who can pick down. Add to group be solid. Keep selling the farm. Creek sobey deng cadee gibbo adnan Hodgkin..... list endless. So not joey or ability to get players.its retention. Can't have drmic Johnson froling teys.... to this list.

Considering all those above players have been poor under Joey, I’m not certain you would keep any of them.
