36ers report Creek?
Adelaide dogged Creek so who can blame him for lashing out?

The NBL has sanctioned South East Melbourne Phoenix player Mitch Creek for a breach of the league’s code of conduct.
Creek has been fined $500 for comments he made to Adelaide owner Grant Kelley following South East Melbourne’s game against Adelaide last Sunday.

Agreed it’s pretty spooky to complain. Would’ve probably told him to piss off, in not so innocent words. Big deal, suck it up. What’s with nbl owners being jerks this season!? Kelley, Walsh that Paul Smith bloke... stay silent and mange in the background.

I’ll pass on Delly lol

Here's Boti's mention of it:
In the game's aftermath, Phoenix captain Creek and 36ers owner Grant Kelley engaged in a brief hostile verbal exchange which, for some, was more entertaining than the match.

Why would an owner want people to think he is paying people over double what they are on. Does he think that people are impressed that he is over stating how much he is spending on this roster for bad results? 36ers are seemingly in the bottom two teams for roster cost and are just missing the finals, so they are over achieving in reality.

I’ve heard about this, I’d say Kelly needs to focus more on putting together a decent team, than bitch and moan over a player who is more popular than him in 36ers folklore. I have real worries with this ownership.

Boti referenced and altercation post game in his game review.

What?

Heads up, there will be two threads covering men and women...
I know there is 200+ thread on ABL rumors, plus a punch up thread, plus discussion of starting fives, but what is happening out there. Again, there is no media coverage even though I assume the season starts in a couple of weeks. I checked the sporting pulse site and there is nothing on there. What gives? Any thoughts on what may happen now we are close to the season starting? Is there a preseason tournament this year?
