I'll eat Vegemite to play for Boomers: Thybulle
On what basis is Bogut a surefire Boomer? He looks absolutely awful out there right now. Shawn Long is dominating him.

Not cancelled, just moved to later on in the year. Or beyond.

Am i the only one who thinks the olympics could be called off due to the mexican beer virus? Id say theres a 40% chance the whole thing is cancelled.

Wow Thybulle is really keen, I'm born and raised here and wouldn't eat that dog shit.

Kay is listed as 206cm 6’9, but looks more like 202cm, 6’8.

Cotton naturalised
Thybulle, citizenship before 16y.o. Came over at 2y.o, left 7 years later.
Maker refugee.
I think they can all play on the same team.

Likely squad will be...
6’0 Mills
6’1 Cotton
6’4 Dellavedova
6’5 Thybulle
6’7 Broekhoff
6’8 Ingles
6’10 Simmons
6’10 Bolden
6’10 Baynes
6’11 Landale
7’0 Bogut
7’1 Maker
possibility...
6’4 Goulding - injury to Mills or cotton
6’5 Creek - injury to ingles or Broekhoff
6’6 Exum - injury to simmons or Dellavedova
6’6 Green - likely beyond Tokyo but slim chance, a Thybulle replacement.
6’9 Kay - right in the mix with other pfs but playing nbl could hurt his stock with brown.
6’10 Magnay - likely beyond Tokyo but slim chance, a Landale, bolden or Maker replacement.

Just because you're a role player, doesn't mean you can't get big minutes. I guess I was saying don't expect him to necessarily transform the team in his own right. He would fill a role - and as you point out, a very important one at that.

Keep in mind that he's a defensive specialist for now. So he would still be a role player on the Boomers, rather than a dominant force. Still, would be very handy having him, he's already a very good defender at NBA level.

Delly or Exum and the last pf spot are the only debareable spots up for grabs.

Boti has written an article which can be viewed at
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/basketball/adelaide-36ers-need-saving-once-again/story-fne5r4t9-1226604111893
Echos the sentiments of quite a few of the posters on this forum who were furious that the owners kept Clarke which proved to be a horrible decision.
The results show that the last four years have easily been the worst for the club.
Whether this is the result of mismanagement is harsh. Results on court are not necessarily the fault of the owners.
What are others thoughts?
Also, it is all well and good to ask for new owners but who would buy the Club in its current state?
Another interesting line in the article is that SOS started with 8 owners and now only 1 is contributing money. Why is this? Just simply a case of the other 7 not wanting to lose anymore money?
If that is the case we are one guy pulling the plug away from actually requiring new ownership like Boti wants.
