The Olympic organisation is very protective of their footage. They have alot of stuff taken down from YouTube that violates copyright policy.

Check out the Olympic Channel website - they have plenty of videos, some of which are not on YouTube (but they are increasingly putting them up there too).

They tend to post stuff from more recent Olympic Games due to the quality being better I suspect but worth checking out.
