NBL vs NBL1 Friendly Games

Lets be logical most likely the NBL teams will play there bench/role players more minutes than usual and few extra players they are interested in as they usually do for the blitz this would weaken their squads a bit more too

That is the same logic I have these NBL teams minus imports, local teams stay together none of this All Star team that's trained together for 2 days. There is potential for upsets or closer games than you think

It wouldn't work as there would be bloodbath-like defeats inflicted on the state league teams. The chasm between the two levels is too wide.

Assuming these friendlies took place between seasons, ie after NBL1 and before NBL, then you could play the NBL1 national champions in the blitz instead of the all stars. A championship team will usually be better than a team of champs, as the saying goes.

Also, it will be a good indication of how competitive the best NBL1 team is amongst the grown men. To give them a chance, the NBL teams could play without their imports (some of whom won't be here for their season, if straight after NBL1 finals).

No it wouldn’t ^ it would be an absolute blood bath like the NBL1 All Stars at last years blitz. Got absolutely flogged.

Hey Issac just wondering it you or someone on your website can find out the records of Wright,Joyce,Smyth,Gleeson,Bevo in the NBL.How many years coaching how many championships how many final series they didn't make got a wager on this thanks.Can't find it on NBL website
