I doubt that BA will cancel U16/U18 AJC. They will just play it later in the year

I think you will find similar to cricket National Representative teams will be severely impacted by COVID-19 over the next 18 months - 2 years. Their selection is not critical at all right now

None of them are critical and the 14's is the least critical of all. It is important Domestic competitions get back and running so that the sport doesn't lose too many players. All these competitions are just nice little rewards along the way and the kids involved are not the ones who we are in danger of losing from the sport.

Thats good to hear. Hopefully BA will hurry with the dates and venue.

So how is players from NSW going to be considered for the junior aussie teams and camps if they are not attending?

14’s more important, yes, to the psycho parents

Lol how?

U16s and u18s are for national team selection.

U14s may not even have the best players from that age group playing in the tournament.
Some teams have the best player yet the team does not qualify for club champs through state comps.

U14 Nationals are more important than the other two championships. Basketball Australia should leave no stone unturned to get this tournament in place

U14’s to be cancelled

V good chance of U16 & U18’s going ahead in October

Years ago

Doubt 14s goes ahead just logistically too difficult for clubs to qualify, fundraise and organise by the end of 2020.

16s and 18s will be decoded July 15 but I think both are a big chance of happening either in October or December.
