Its gone QUIET
only 1 signing come on

Didi doesn’t count as a player in the 10 man roster as he is a next star
So 3 spots to fill
Import/Bruce
Dejan/ Glover
Newley/Moller
Cooks/ ?
Import/ Hunter
Probably Kickett returning

Who will be the starting centre and small forward Dazza?
Talk is that Reath is trying to get out of his contract, nd we would be seriously interested if that happens. Perhaps surprisingly, that Trev had talked to Brandt, but obviously if he signs in Melbourne that's off. Otherwise NFI, other than that the Cats have of course spoken to the agents of mostly available FAs. It's not impossible that we start Jook, and bring in some young Turk (given Trev's penchant for players with upside) but NFI who that could be.
Starting SF is a chook raffle at the moment. Trev has confirmed he'll start Steindl if necessary.
Could be an experienced player, could be the roster slot is filled with a young guy, could be Cotton naturalises and we get another import, could be we start the season with a DP elevated in anticipation. Don't know what Pozoglou is doing yet.

Haha let's check in two weeks time to see how far off you are this timeI'll take that bet.
1) Damo given every opportunity to make it back.
2) Import PF
3) Local cenre or 4/5
4) Local SF or 2/3
5) Cotton will naturalise at some point. If approval were to come though early enough, then 3 or 4 could be changeded for an import
Gotta love the deluded Perf fans thinking Cotton will naturalise before this season starts. He will be extremely lucky to naturalise before next season even starts. He doesn't get priority just because he gets BJs from the reach-around army.
As I said
without any assistance, he has a "75% chance" of that being within 18 months, which would be about 6 months from now.
Reality is, it could happen any time from now, and we'll never now if there was assistance.

josh childress was on corey williams instagram suggesting that SEM were after Scotty hopson guessing it was just a joke

so is that all for today in the free agent signing

No Waratah is actually worse than everyone thinks. Bose averaged 22ppg & 10.5rpg last season. And someone above has described him more eloquently than I could.

pinder signed with 36ers

waratah league isn't as bad as everyone thinks, if waratah was brutal you would think the CoE would come through and beat everyone by 20plus as they did fairly well in the NBL1

James Hunter dropped 20 something points on 85% shooting in first game in waratah league after averaging a double double in nbl1 south, he probably is closer to return to nbl than most of the guys running in that league

James Hunter dropped 20 something points on 85% shooting in first game in waratah league after averaging a double double in nbl1 south, he probably is closer to return to nbl than most of the guys running in that league

Anatoly Bose plays Waratah and he is a bum.

Haha waratah sucks

Why would Cotton not get preferential treatment if the right people are batting for him. Happens all the time for some. How may tennis players got naturalised fast? Olympic athletes?

Also, Salt injuring his NACL - that is gold!

is he blanchfeild replacement or conaard

deng deng has signed with the hawks

Jonathan kuminga has signed to play in the G league for 500,000

#671 today’s winner!

guessing todays announcements will be Rueben te Rangi and Gliddon SEM and Isaac Humphries Dech Pinder for the 36ers

Till pepper comes back.

Might be wait and see until the draft and get a nice drafted player.

Haha let’s check in two weeks time to see how far off you are this time

yeah, well sometimes being all thumbs is a problem..
3) We need an Aussie centre, and the rumour is we are trying to get Reath. So ok, Brandt might have been an option, but you can forget most of the other names.
4) Yes we need a 2/3, but I'm not sure that this year would have been the best to sign another young gun. We already have Wani, Travers is on a 3-year deal, and presumably we're targetting Britt or others as a future PG.
Now consider that Cotton WILL naturalise.
Based purely on the numbers, without any assistance, he has a "75% chance" of that being within 18 months, which would be about 6 months from now.

Perth have 4 spots to fill.
That sounds like a lot, except
1) We want Damo Back
2) We're going after a gun import PF, and that's not going to be filled early, probably not till the fate of other leagues is better known.
3)

Don’t forget Rhys Vague left.
Trev doesn’t develop young talent. Needs to inherit a good team and buy the replacements.

'Insipid by Perth we all know they will miss the playoffs and challenge for the spoon'
I think we found Corey Williams burner.

'Perth dong have any. They missed out on all their targets.
No jack white
No Keanu Pinder
No Dejan Vasiljevic
No Sunday Dech
No Angus Brandt'
Not all doom and gloom in Perth... we do still have the reigning league MVP... also:
- Jack White was not going to sign in Perth (even though I understand we enquired).
- Keanu Pinder probably wanted to distance his family name from the Wildcats (fair move going to the 36ers).
- Dejan Vasiljevic was an unfortunate miss, but highly sought after (however a long shot).
- It would have been great to get Sunday back, however we have left this roster spot open for a scorer (interesting to see who we sign here before being too judgmental).
- Angus Brandt would have been a great signing, however does this mean we are going for Duop Reath?
I highly doubt those guys were the only targets Perth were going after. 34 straight playoffs says to trust the organisation through this process.

Already talking about imports and hoping Bryce gets his citizenship
