Hawks Sign First Import Tyler Harvey
"What the hell does 'positionless' even mean? It makes no sense." "Why is everyone so obsessed with which position a guy plays?"Was there even a point to your post?
You're comparing "Apples", to "How Long is the Harbour Bridge?" and trying to imply some disparity? Seriously dude, drugs are bad for you.

Jick
His mother has joined the hawks supporters chat group I’m reliably informed, I’d say it’s a done deal to hawks.
Hawks spending big.

Whilst I think that so far Goorj has done ok rebuilding his squad, st the risk of stating the obvious his imports and remaining local signings are going to be critical.
Harvey seems good, can't really say any more except to trust Goorj's recruiting.
He's got some very promising young talent, who, ya never know, could really come on strong under Goorj, but its a big ask for them all to do that.
So, WHO are these two local Bigs?

No Damien Martin any more, Cotton certainly will have to defend more. Ware was asked to always guard him and it played right in Perth favour last season as it killed his offensive game.

I think one of the ways to stop a Bryce Cotton 30 plus point game is to bring a player like Tyler Harvey to the squad and make Bryce play a bit more defence.

Goorian also said he had not taken players from rival clubs (up until that yesterday at least)

I think Perth will put Reath and Plumlee together.

If Oliver’s off to Europe, cairns might have the money for
Cairns Taipans-Kelly
5’11 S.Machado(I)/6’2 J.Kenny
6’5 D.Newbill(I)/6’3 M.Djeric/6’5 M.King(NS)
6’7 K.Noi/6’8 F.Krslovic
6’10 B.Motum/6’10 M.Deng
6’11 A.Ogilvy/6’10 N.Jawai
DP
6’0 T.Dufelmeier PG

The sort of guard that will flourish in the NBL, lights out 3 point shooter, maybe better than Roberson, gets to the rim a little better than John also. I expect him to play the 2 with Naar starting. Hawks looking the goods so far!

This guy can really knock down a 3 ball! Should be fun to watch. Goorj will have the young Aussies looking for this guy at every opportunity.

This is a boom or bust signing.
Watching his tape he is an easy scout so won't be hard to defend unless the other imports are legit as the Aussie talent is pretty poor.''''''
HAHAHAHA
and your scouting qualifications are ?????

Hunter is the backup.

I wonder who will pickup Ogilvy.

Just speculation, it’s either Perth or hawks

Hopefully we get to see another talented import in the league, I was a Brooks fan, but sucked when he got injured last season.

Very smart signings going on. Obviously not packed with talent BUT...... Might be a lower spend team but with all the boxes ticked and a great coach anything is possible. Long athletic wings. Check. Big rim protector/screeners. Check. Versatile big that can stretch the floor. Check. Elite shooters. Check. Distributor/passer. Check.

Seems like a very good signing.
But once again posters obsessing over who they think should play where. The guy can clearly play either PG or SG in our league, so wait and see what Goorj has in store.
Now cue the "D2 wrong again he's not a _G" post.

Nz powerforward out of college.

Deng deng

I reckon...
6’4 T.Harvey(I)/6’1 E.Naar
6’5 D.Newbill?(I)/6’2 I.White/6’6 D.Grida - out tilll late jan.
6’7 D.Adel/6’8 D.Deng
6’10 B.Motum/(NS)
6’9 C.Bairstow/6’11 S.Froling

So the Hawks roster looks like this?
Bairstow / Froling
Import / Deng
Adel / Grida
Harvey* / Coenraad
Naar / White
This is presuming Adel's playing the 3 (rather than the 4) and Coenraad will re-sign for the umpteenth time.

Sem got wetzell

All over for OKC. Too reliant on one player IMO.
Are Memphis a serious chance from here? Saw someone rank them as the best but slim chance to tackle the Heat?
