12 United players have now tested positive
Wasn't this a basketball forum or was it always a crackpot forum??

Good health and luck to all concerned, including their families. Absolutely shit this virus.

WA advising the Eastern States on COVID19 is like Tony Abbot advising the EU on border protection.

Stay safe fellas. I am very much over this covid mess, but I don't see it ending soon.

Gotta hand it to MU, I didn't think you could overachieve like that. Another team might just get 2 or 4 sick, but MU sets some high standards.
Seriously, though, hope they all come through with no lingering issues.

Unfortunately I think that what we are seeing, is that community restrictions don't work 100%. Whilst I imagine that social distancing and all the protocols HELP, they're clearly not 100% effective.
WA didn't do anything special or wonderful, we were just lucky that we clamped down hard on our boarders before many cases came in, and that those cases were contained.
But I have to say, given the problems that already existing in Melbourne weeks ago, continuing training was just plain stupid. Because this was always the risk. It only takes one player or trainer to bring it in, and in a training environment its going to spread easily.

Roy Ward:
The NBL did not list the names of those other positive tests as they are a mix of contracted players who are in Melbourne and uncontracted training players, but the team cut back the numbers at training when the second lockdown began for their three sessions each week.
No one is believed to have shown any signs of serious illness so far and no staff members have tested positive with the club having almost all its staff working from home.
The team were using COVID-19 protocols for their training but the virus found its way in and spread.

I saw an article on espn that dirk is going to take a major pay cut after next season, what are people's thoughts on Cuban being able to get dwight and or Chris Paul to Dallas this off season, and then sign all three to long term deals in 2015?
