Western Magic do have a choice- its called nomination at the start of the season, hence why mavs hav a div 1 team- they nominated for that division.

If the results are that demeaning to the competition and other teams, im sure BASA can move them up. Yes programs would then need to be changed, but this summer season is too long for that to be happening on a regular basis. Same goes for dropping any teams that are in the too hard basket.

obviously some of western magics teams need to be moved up a division? not knocking them- but how can u develop by winning or losing by that much- not good for the game.
