It's a tough call to throw in Madgen and Gerlach, at this time of the season you want to have the team running at is best - obviously madgen and gerlach are very unlikely to see any minutes in the finals. I'd rather see oscar and hill out there, both in my opinion have had a lack of minutes all season (with exception of a few games obviously).

Is this playing the good trainers for real or what, so hambour sits this week, guess it dosn't really matter for him as he has hardly been used all season anyway, but if they are so adament on Gower they should have just picked him instead of hambour.

Great summary Isaac!

A good game to watch, and a terrific crowd atmosphere, despite the heat. It was hot everywhere yesterday, and the Dome's air conditioner was not the only one that was struggling!

Excellent performance by Adelaide, though we continue to give up too many offensive boards. I was somewhat disappointed that Gerlach and Madgen didn't get a run in the last quarter, with the game such a blowout. I thought that showed a lack of class on Phil Smyth's part. The referees must have also been suffering from heat stroke.

Brett Maher did nothing but ooze class: he hasn't shot the ball that purely in quite a few games. Russell Hinder should be high on Adelaide's wishlist for next season.
