Are you studying statistics at Uni? A lot of work doing all that I imagine. In the end it will still come down to who plays best on the night (barring injuries). Any of the teams in the top 8 could beat each other on their night.

I don't really see your point.
It's a 11 team competition with 8 making finals, so you would think the top players in nearly every statistical category will be seeing finals action?
The only exception would be an outstanding player on a shit team - ie Brian Wethers last year led the league in scoring (or was top 2, pretty sure he led)
