I'm writing to congratulate Scott on his eulogy to Vera Craig earlier this week.

Scott demonstrated the true Club spirit and feeling that I would hope is the reason that we are all involved in this wonderful sport.

Although Scott and my son talk a lot of humorous sh!t, I've only had courteous discussions with him before and after games.

During the delivery of his speech, I saw a side of Scott that I haven't seen before.

Not the big buffoon, not the funny guy, but a committed, passionate Club person who paid service to someone who had such an impact on his life.
