Joe M I also disagree that if the Government take back the Dome, they will charge high prices for the rent. I can't see the Government deliberately having a hand in killing the only NBL team we have in SA. With the pride associated with the Grand Prix and then having lost it to Victoria, the Government expressed disappointment at that loss. I think they will do everything in their power to make sure the club survives. It would be an embarrassment to the SA Government to lose an NBL team, particularly when its a team that attracts more spectators than any other NBL teams. South Astralia like every other state prides itself on its sporting achievements.

I also personally feel that the Government taking over the Dome would be the best thing for club so it can rid itself of the crippling debt and make it more attractive for private sale. Like a bank taking over your home if you default on your mortgage payments, the same would apply here. There must be some good use for the land even if the building is knocked down. Alternatively, the Government can use it in the same way as the Entertainment Centre if a smaller venue is required. The Entertainment centre would be the best place to play out of. Anything else is too small.
