It's great that Oscar is getting this opportunity and I wish him all the best. It would be stupid to knock back opportunities that are going to develop you further as a player and offer better financial stability. The thing that really annoys me is that Adelaide has not been in the situation to match these offers being made elsewhere. Why did Adelaide get itself into such a shit state? What was going on all that time that the BASA board was mismanaging the organisation? Where were the auditors throughout that time? My grduge is with what is happening to Adelaide, not the players who choose to leave.

Joe M, you are right. At this point it's looking like Hambour and Gower in the starting lineup with Nathan Hawkes first guy off the bench.

Good for Oscar! If NZ was offering more money and a much longer deal then why should he stay in Adelaide?
Great work again from the Sixers. Forman should have been locked up by the middle of last season, and now where are we? He's gone, Holmes is halfway out the door.
Part of the reason that Adelaide didn't put up the huge fight for Dusty is that they had Oscar and Jacob. So what happens if we end up with none of them? Not only will they be more expensive to replace but we'll soon start to run into the points cap as well. Holmes (a 10 anywhere else as a Boomer) is a 5 while playing for Adelaide. Oscar (an 8 or 9 as a part-time Boomer - Isaac, would this be right?) was a 5 here. Now we have to potentially replace both of these guys for more money, and more cap points.
Another great effort from the Sixers!
