Although it was known for a lot longer he said that it wasn't until the beginning of this month that it was confirmed as being on. "The Blitz was only confirmed early this month when ABC Learning Centres agreed to sponsor the series".

It still raises the question as to why they were not better prepared for it knowing the possibility was there. By better prepared, I also mean decline their involvement if necessary.
