Stingray, he stepped away from the Sixers at a time when his Medicine Studies became full on and couldn't manage both his studies and playing for the Sixers. I am not sure if he has completed his studies, but he must be at a point in his life now where he can manage to come back.

Great news.
Much better than throwing in a development player/unknown. At least with Ninja you know you have a sweet shooter who you can throw in for short bursts to shoot the lights out!

Watching Darren play in the ABA, he doesn't look like he's lost his touch at all. In fact, he is playing better than he's ever played. I know you can't compare ABA to NBL, but he's right up there with the best of them. Good pick up by the Sixers.
