ABL Women: Sturt vs Southern preview
For me, a close result if Cooper can play quality minutes. Cooper gives Southern intensity and pace and draws players away from Beatty allowing her and team mates to work closer to the offensive bucket. Cooper however comes with the ability to rack up personal fouls quite quickly. Not lost on Sturt who get solid contributions from many players and draw fouls out of oppositions.
Sturts achilles heel is going "arctic"; sometimes for minutes at a time. The Sturt coaching staff would be alert for these patches and if minimised, should get them over the line. Has the makings of a tough and fair game, worthy of a watch.
