ABL Grand Final results
As an impartial but interested spectator, I think the speech from the Sturt captain was totally appropriate as winners can hold court.
That aside, the most startingly obvious difference between the two teams was their body shapes and fitness.Sturt presented athletes on the court whilst some of the Forestville players are clearly overweight and in less than top condition which is strange at the business end of the season.
Maybe body suits encourage fitness and Sturt's maligned body suit is their secret weapon.
An important thing happened at the end of the game too, the sturt players went over to their younger supporters and acknowledged them.
As much as I wish sturt played on Mars, they are the trend setters and if the rest of us are to catch up, we need to copy their junior program.
Well done to F'ville men. Too fast.
Marino i reckon played a good game overall. She kept out of foul trouble early(unlike monique bowley) which allowed her t play freely in the end . All in all both games were good
