Yogee, did Phil say if the 2 clubs being allocated 50 unused tickets, continue to get these tickets this season. They could be put to better use. One example would be to raffle them at each game to try and win tickets for the next game. Atleast this way, they are making some money on them. People buying tickets at the door would probably welcome the opportunity to win tickets for the next game. That way you also avoid 100 empty seats that they are not selling anyway.

Well for $20 I can sit through 3 movies in a marathon as a student.

Or you can do like me at Greater Union the other night and just walk into another cinema and watch Bourne Supremacy after AVP makes you want to churn.

In any case it shows what the sixers are pricing themselves against.

Although the stadium seemed only half full last night, a lot of seats were empty because not every season ticket holder attends every game. It does not mean that the seat is not sold. As far as half time entertainment goes, I don't see the big deal about this. The way I look at it is that the highlight is the game itself and half time is a break time for getting up and stretching your legs, buying something to eat and drink and going to the toilet. There is a strategy in having lousy half time entertainment and that is if it was good, people would stay in their seats and not get up to buy some thing.
