Some huge misjudgements on Smyth's part. Maher played 5 minutes each quarter and quite clearly not ready to play again. Why on earth was he on the floor in the last few crucial minutes of the game. Last night the Sixers came from behind after he put Ng in where he scored 10 or his 12 points all in the last quarter. Where was he in the last few minutes tonight? Phil, you blew this one. Sure NZ was a quality team, but the Sixers managed a lead of 5 points, they only needed to maintain it.
yehhh i agree, its the loudest ive heard it since 2002, gee Farley really got us pumped in the third and those ch ants of "LETS GO SIXERS !!!!!!!!LETS GO!!!!!!!!!" were electrifying. Good game to watch just unlucky in the end and i thin k a bit tired, although i have to question phils decision to put Maher on in the last quarter with few mins to go, i mean he hasnt played for 5 weeks and clearly wasnt match fit. Any way it was a good game to watch and the Lightning played really well.
